Relevance and Outcomes:
Who Is this module for?
This module is designed for:
- People who want to work with advanced skin treatments
- People who want to become certified Skin Therapists
- Healthcare professionals who want to building a foundation for injectables
- Practitioners who wants better results with laser-, injections- or other advanced aesthetic treatments
Why this module matters
Regenerative aesthetics requires a different clinical mindset than traditional volume-based treatments.
Without a clear understanding of mechanisms of action, inflammatory pathways, and tissue response, practitioners risk:
- Inconsistent results
- Improper patient selection
- Incorrect injection depth
- Increased complication rates
This module builds a structured framework that allows you to:
- Plan treatments with long-term tissue quality in focus
- Understand biological aging processes
- Select appropriate regenerative tool
- Work within safe inflammatory thresholds
What you’ll learn
You will develop structured competence in:
- The biological shift from volume correction to regeneration
- Extracellular matrix composition and aging processes
- Differences between fillers, biostimulators and skinboosters
- Mechanisms of action for PLLA, CaHA, polynucleotides and HA-based skinboosters
- Host immune response and controlled inflammation
- Clinical timelines and expected tissue remodeling phases
- Complication mechanisms including nodules and granulomas
- Risk mitigation through dilution, depth and technique
All included courses contain structured multiple-choice assessments.
After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Select the correct regenerative product for the right patient
- Differentiate between structural support and ECM stimulation
- Plan treatments based on biological mechanisms rather than trends
- Communicate timelines and expectations clearly
- Reduce risk through correct depth, dilution and injection strategy
- Integrate regenerative treatments into a structured clinical framework
Practitioners working with structured regenerative knowledge improve treatment predictability and strengthen long-term patient outcomes.

FAQ – Common Questions
Can I take this without medical authorization?
You can purchase the online course without being a licensed healthcare provider; however, participation in the hands-on training requires valid healthcare licensure.
Do I need prior experience?
No, we have adapted the course for both those who are experienced in skincare treatments and those who have no experience.
Can I upgrade to hands-on later?
Yes. Upgrade is available after passing the online theory.
Am I legally allowed to perform these treatments after completing this module in my country?
Upon completion, you receive certification from Nordic Aesthetics Academy confirming your theoretical and/or supervised practical training.
However, it is your personal responsibility to ensure that your educational background and professional status allow you to legally perform specific treatments in your country of practice. Regulations vary between jurisdictions.
For hands-on training, participants must provide valid documentation confirming that their background permits them to perform the relevant treatments in the country where the training takes place. NAA ensures compliance during official training days but cannot assume responsibility for how treatments are performed after completion in your home country.
If you are unsure about your eligibility, we are happy to guide you via email at info@na.academy.se before enrolment.
Online theory may be purchased by anyone interested in the knowledge itself, regardless of professional background.
Which specific treatments will I practice during the Hands-on training?
If you complete the online theory only, you receive a digital certificate confirming that you have successfully completed the theoretical components of the module. This verifies knowledge competence but does not confirm practical proficiency.
If you complete the hands-on training and receive the diploma, NAA certifies that you have demonstrated supervised clinical competence in the following treatments:
- Biostimulator
- Skinbooster
Certification applies strictly to the treatments included in this module.
What happens if I fail the online assessments?
Each included course contains multiple-choice assessments.
If you do not pass on the first attempt, you may retake the test.
The questions vary between attempts, but the required knowledge standard remains the same. The purpose is mastery — not gatekeeping.
The structure ensures that you genuinely understand the material before progressing to hands-on training.
What happens if I attend hands-on training but do not meet the required competency level?
To attend hands-on training, you must first pass the required online theory assessments.
If during hands-on training you do not meet the required practical standard for diploma issuance, we will create a structured follow-up plan.
This may include reassessment or additional supervised training without requiring full repurchase of the program.
Our goal is competence, not exclusion.
What is the exact structure of hands-on training — how much practice do I personally get?
Hands-on training consists of five full practical days (approximately 6–7 hours per day).
Each day focuses on one treatment theme and includes:
- Focused morning theory session
- Demonstration by experienced NAA instructors
- Supervised treatment practice on a minimum of three real patient models per participant
- Individual feedback and consultation review
- Access to all necessary equipment and materials
- Lunch and full-day structured program
Training takes place in carefully selected clinical facilities and is designed to maximize individual attention and quality of learning.
Professional follow-up is provided after training.
How many participants are there per hands-on training day?
Groups are intentionally kept small, typically between 4–10 participants depending on the treatment theme.
This ensures close supervision, individual feedback, and a structured learning environment.
Where is the hands-on training held, and do I need to travel internationally?
Hands-on training is held in selected countries and clinical locations organized by NAA.
Participants receive full location details before confirming enrolment. NAA also collaborates with selected partners to provide accommodation recommendations and practical travel guidance.
How long do I have access to the online material?
You receive long-term access to the online learning platform, including:
- All video lectures
- Downloadable resources
- Live group meetings
- Ongoing updates
This allows you to revisit and refresh your knowledge whenever needed.
Is there a fixed study schedule, or can I complete it fully at my own pace?
The online theory is fully self-paced. You may begin immediately after enrolment.
1:1 sessions with the instructor can be booked flexibly.
Live group meetings and hands-on training days are scheduled on fixed dates communicated after enrolment.
What kind of support do I receive after completing the module?
As a participant, you receive:
- Access to 1:1 academic meeting
- Ongoing live group sessions
- Community access
- Case review opportunities
- Continued support as part of the NAA network
Support remains available beyond completion.
Will this module help me attract more clients or increase revenue — and how?
